TEHRAN – Principlist MP Asadollah Badamchian has said that the principlists should become united at critical junctures such as election times.

“The purpose behind efforts made by principlists aimed at promoting unity (among them) is preventing the emergence of division and discord at critical junctures such as elections,” the deputy head of the Islamic Coalition Party told the Mehr News Agency in an interview which was published on Tuesday.
The principlists’ unity can be restored based on their common belief that they should completely obey the Supreme Leader, he said.
Principlists may have differing views about various issues, but all of them believe that the Supreme Leader’s directives should be unquestionably obeyed, he noted.
